How to report
1 When directly quoting somebody, put the sentence in quotation marks:
Evelyn says, “I love going to the Pharmacy Museum.”
Noah says, “We saw a lot of different animals here.”
2 When you report what somebody else says, use the word ‘that’ and repeat what the person has said. Be careful! You may have to change the pronouns.
Evelyn says (that) she loves going to the Pharmacy Museum.
Noah says (that) they saw a lot of different animals there.
