I go to school every day.
I'm going to school now.

He usually drinks  tea in the morning, but today he is drinking milk.

We use the present simple to talk about routines, facts that are true about the present.
Time expressions: every day (week, year), often, always, usually, sometimes, rarely, once a week...

We use the present continuous to say what is going on now or around now.
Time expressions: now, at the moment, these days...
