Lesson 1C: On the way to school

My school starts at 9 am so I usually get up at 8.
First, I have breakfast and then I get ready for school.
My school is two bus stations away from my house, so it’s too far to walk.
That’s why I usually go to school by bus.
The bus leaves at 8.40 but I have to be at the station at 8.35.
The bus ride takes about 10 minutes.
Sometimes when it’s warm and sunny I go to school by bike.
On the way to school I pass by the skate park, the post office and my dad’s office.
It’s a boring journey but at least I have fun with my friends on the bus.

They need to slide down a zipline.
It looks dangerous, doesn’t it?

In some parts of China children have to cross mountains to get to their school.
The good thing is they attend a boarding school, so they don’t have to travel like that every day.

In India, some children don’t have the opportunity of travelling by bus or car to school.
So what do they do?
They take a ride on a horse and cart!
